Can I feed my cat panadol/paracetamol?

Today I saw a cat with a blue tongue (for the first time!) and when I enquired further, the owner admitted that she fed the poor cat panadol!

“It was only a quarter tablet,” she says. And the cat turned blue minutes later. The cat was immediately given an antidote, and hospitalized.

A vaccine contains dead/weakened virus/ bacteria. When your cat/dog is vaccinated (through injection or nasal drops), the vaccine “teaches” your cat/dog how to defend itself against the contained viruses/bacteria by creating and mounting escalated immune response.
